Food, the meals we
have every day, whether it was local or international …
Sounds obvious that
I would talk and compare different cuisines of the world and probably express
some views on it …
So I guess,
different regions of the world have different tastes, special ingredients or
the use of some “weird” or interesting objects let me call it …
With that, the food
changed from the East to the oriental places, to the far west …
In the Eastern
hemisphere, that would be Asia basically, people consume a lot of rice with a
lot of proteins in different kinds, what I’ve seen “in the Middle East”, is
that the consuming of protein is probably much more in there than it is in Europe
as a whole, that would be because people in the middle east are used to that as
traditions “if I may call it”.
But in Europe, they
kind of try to have a mixture of cuisines I would say, so you’d find oriental
food, and you’d find food from the far west.
Considering the far
west, they have some interesting cuisines as well, and their protein consuming
is definitely more than ordinary, but considering that Latin countries are part
that, they some special ingredients that relate very much to the oriental
spices or ways of cooking, or maybe that’s due to the fact that Latin Americans
have a lot in common with the middle east because of some previous immigration
to there.
Now, one of the things
I would talk about here is how East Asians have their food, as it’s
interesting, their way of cooking, and the spices they use … plus rice of
course, they have a very good mix between proteins “all kinds of meat, eggs … etc.”
and carbohydrates “Salad, Grain products … etc.” …
By comparing that to
places like the Middle East who consume proteins more, as you’ll find other
ways of proteins around here like side dishes which we called “salads, or
appetizers”, so that’s not a lot of balance although it may taste different.
Europeans do try to
have a good mix as the Asians do “or some of them”, but I’m not sure if they
could, as most of the time their “food” is a variety of other regions food,
because their food is full of proteins due to their extreme weather conditions.
The far East “North
America I mean here”, which is in essence a mixture of cultures and people
coming from everywhere and living there, so that’s probably like Europe, just a
mixture or variety of food from everywhere, but not to forget their special
ways of having proteins that includes special farms for cows “Kobe beef … etc.”
which was originally from East Asia. "not to mention their high dependence on fast food" ...
No, I didn't actually feel hungry when I wrote this, I just thought about it as I was having
dinner …
